RIWA-Rijn strives to achieve a quality of surface water that allows natural purification to produce impeccable drinking water.
Together with the IAWR and other European river associations, gathered in the ERM coalition, RIWA-Rijn continuously uses its (political) influence to raise awareness of the importance of a clean river among politicians, governments, and policymakers in water management and industry. It does this on behalf of its four affiliated companies: Oasen, PWN, Vitens, and Waternet, ensuring an efficient approach to shared interests.
